Eurovision Song Contest 2007

VivaCell subscribers will have an opportunity to participate in voting for the best song during the popular European “Eurovision Song Contest 2007”.
 
As usual, the contest will be organized in two stages: on May 10th the TV audience will have a chance to watch the Semi-Final, and on May 12th the main event will take place: the Final concert of “Eurovision Song Contest 2007”. As always, the outcome of the contest will be as a result of the viewers voting which will take place in all contest participant countries.
 
In order to vote for the preferred song, the voter should send an SMS containing the number of the participant country to 7708 Short Number, strictly within the voting window time which will be declared by the TV show hosts.
 
The voting will take place during 15 minutes voting window after the performance by all the participants will be finished, both on the May 10th Semi-Final and on May 12th Final concert.
 
The terms and conditions of the voting and the exact voting window time will be announced by the TV show hosts, as well as displayed by means of graphical announcements.
 
Important:
  • According to the “Eurovision Song Contest" rules, voting for the own country participant is not allowed.
  • An SMS-vote sent outside of the voting window time will be considered as not valid and will not be taken into account when counting the voting results.
  • No more than 20 SMS can be sent from a single mobile number.
  • The price of sending one SMS to 7708 Short Number is AMD 250 (VAT included). Receiving the reply SMS is free of charge.
  • In case the sent SMS contains own country participant’s number, the sent SMS contains text which is not compliant to the format stipulated by the SMS-voting rules, the SMS is sent before or after the voting window, or the number of sent SMS per mobile number exceeds allowed 20 SMS, the price of the SMS will be charged from the subscriber`s account, though these SMS-votes will not be taken into account when counting the voting results.
