60 LED lights have been installed in Nor Aznaber illuminating the entire village, which is more than 2 km length.
The launching ceremony of this newly-built and energy-saving system has been attended by the General Manager of VivaCell-MTS Mr. Ralph Yirikian, the Founder of FPWC Ruben Khachatryan, Nor Aznaberd community head Mr. Misak Karapetyan, and the residents of the community as well.
“”, - said Ralph Yirikian, the General Manager of VivaCell-MTS.
The insertion of the outdoor energy-efficient lighting system is aimed at saving the resources of the community and at the exhilarating the community life. The development of the rural infrastructure is important for the residents who are mainly involved in cattle and agriculture, not only for the comfort and the opportunity to have civilized conditions, but also in the terms of reducing the financial burden.
The operation of these environmental and energy-saving LED lights is economically efficient for villages with modest budgetary resources. The use of this system will reduce energy consumption by 80 percent, easing of the financial burden of the community.
The lights will illuminate the streets of the village from 21:00 till midnight in summer, and from 18:00 till 23:00 in winter. On holidays the lighting will be provided throughout the entire night.
