•The card is damaged and doesn’t work properly?
•The card is blocked and requires a code?

 

Loss of a card

If you have lost your SIM card, first of all block it so that others do not use it. The card blocking is free of charge and can be done by:


•Visiting the “Internet Assistant” self-care portal
•Calling 111
•Visiting the nearest service center

Later on, you can visit Viva-MTS service center and get a new card with the same phone number and balance you had on your account. The lost card replacement costs AMD 300.


If, after blocking, you, nevertheless, find the lost card, you can reconnect it free of charge at one of our service centers (you should present the card).

 

Mechanical damage

The SIM card may fail to perform properly if it is worn or has mechanical damages. In such case the damaged card can be replaced with a new one in the nearest service center keeping the phone number and the balance.The service costs AMD 300.

 

PIN and PUK codes


For SIM card safety reasons, as a result of certain actions, you may sometimes be required to enter the PIN code. In case of entering a wrong PIN code three times, the card gets temporarily blocked. To unblock it, you need to enter the PUK code. In case of entering a wrong PUK code ten times the card is permanently blocked.

Before the final blocking, the card can be restored free of charge, by calling 111 or by visiting one of Viva-MTS service centers. To reserve the phone number after the final blocking, the card should be replaced with a new one by visiting the nearest service center. Card replacement costs AMD 300.

Note
In all cases, when reconnecting a SIM card or replacing it with a new one, an ID is required.
